Millennium Development Goals and the Future of the UNDr. Jerry Pubantz, Author, Chair, Department of History and Political Science, Salem University, NCDr Pubantz is the co-editor of the Encyclopedia of the United Nations and co-author of the about-to-be-published book: The New United Nations: International Organization in the 21st Century. For his book To Create a New World? American Presidents and the United Nations, he has been honored with the Outstanding Academic Title Award for 2000 by the American Library's CHOICE magazine. He is a member of the Middle East Policy National Advisory Board, former president of the North Carolina Political Science Association, co-founder of the Southern Association of Pre-Law Advisors, and former Chairman of the National Collegiate Conference Association, corporate sponsor of the National Model United Nations in New York City.
